Deadly Planet (2021), by Rev. Uncle Bastard, is a space capitalism/exploration hexcrawl RPG crammed onto one riso-printed business card. It contains tables for character, mission and encounter generation, along with a light action and combat system. Is it functional? I…I think so? Is functionality really the appeal, though? I don’t think so. I love business card games because they are sort of the opposite of an arms race, testing how little you can print and still have a game. This one is in the running, and, with the riso-printing, happens to be one of the prettiest I’ve encountered. You can get the base card on RUB’s itch.io page for free; the expansions cost a few bucks.
