]]> I like U2: Danger at Dunwater (1982) a lot more than U1. U1 wraps up with implications that a local lizardfolk tribe is preparing for war against Saltmarsh. Except, all is not as it seems, and if the party does the usual D&D thing of stabbing first and asking questions later, things will go very badly.

I would usually not care about spoiling a nearly 40 year old adventure, but since it is being revamped in some form for Ghosts of Saltmarsh, I’ll spare you the details. Suffice it to say this is a pretty satisfying and surprising module.

Fun art in this one, with a lot of Timothy Truman, which is always a welcome addition.
