If you wanted to play anything other than a human in RuneQuest 3, like a duck, or a dwarf or whatever, you had to buy a separate, over-priced character sheet box set. Don’t get me wrong, as a collector, I appreciate box sets above all else, but as a player, I would have been annoyed in 1985.
