The GURPS I played most was an ongoing super hero (and later, supervillain) campaign based on this wonderful sourcebook right here: GURPS Supers.

GURPS is a perfect system for a super hero game (I say this, in fairness, with no actual experience with Champions, but lots of experience with Marvel Super Heroes, so take me with a grain of salt, gang). It scales up nicely and thanks to the billions of sourcebooks, there is tons of support for any kind of hero you can conceive of, from any era or genre.
Supers is a bit unusual for GURPS because it saw a lot of additional sourcebooks and adventures published, which we’ll get to in time. Along with Illuminati, it is one of the few GURPS materials Steve Jackson Game trademarked, which says something about the company’s commitment to it.
The cover, by Alan Gutierrez and Charlie Wiedman is pretty fab. The interior art, mostly not so much – though the illustrations for the stock characters are pretty good, particularly Blue Demon.
