Well, here I am, a day late and a dollar short, as they say. In part because October was rather busy, but also not busy in interesting “write a newsletter about it” ways. But we shall persist.
The Last Cull
In the interest of cleaning out my storage space (the rent for which climbed comically high recently), I have brought all the RPG stuff I had stowed there home. This meant I had too much RPG stuff (which, no duh). This is a bit of an illusion, actually, because a lot of what I brought home was stuff I already flagged to sell, which is why it was in storage, but having all this crap in one place spurred me to cut the collection down to the barest it has been in years. There is empty space on the club house shelves for maybe the first time ever. There are only three boxes of RPG books in the attic, and they are mostly Chaosium books that really don’t need to be on a shelf (sorry, Secrets Of line) but I could get them in there if I wanted.

This is interesting to a degree because there is definitely an entire class of RPG product that I have hosted over the years that were entirely for the book(s) or the feed and now that they have contributed to those things, they are very easy to move along to new owners. Broadly, the stuff the survives is TSR’s 1E D&D (which is complete), Basic D&D (getting close to complete), 2E D&D that doesn’t suck and/or is still interesting in some way (will never be complete), the 3E monster books, most of the core rules for systems of note and then all the Chaosium (and 3PP), Games Workshop, Iron Crown, West End Games, GURPs, Mayfair, Free League and a selection of modern indie stuff. It’s still a lot. There is still enough for at least one and probably two or three years of daily posting.

Speaking of, I have to tidy up my collection spreadsheets. Let me know if you want to go through and flag stuff in there that has been posted about. I don’t have a clear record of that, and it would be helpful!
The Last Sale
Thanks to the cull, I have about a thousand things to sell off. The list is here. If you want stuff, be quick, because I am going to sell it all to Chris Korczak soon. How soon? I am sending him the list after I post this newsletter. I want to hopefully finalize it next week get the stuff in the mail no later than the week of November 17.
You can reserve stuff, hit me up for lay-a-way, whatever you like; prices are highly negotiable. But don’t flake! And aim to get things settled by the end of the year. These bags and boxes are starting to inflict Psychic damage.
I’m still down to stamp stuff, too!

Geek Flea and PAX Unplugged
They are the same weekend this year, which is a bummer. Hambone will be in Philly, I will be behind my usual table in the gym of the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington (as seen in Happy Gilmore 2). I won’t be mad if you go to PAX instead of Geek Flea.
If you do go to PAX, go to Quinns’ trivia game thing. I don’t have any firmer information that that at the moment, but I am writing some of the questions! I will have better information on this closer to the show, so watch the Discord for that if it is of interest.
Bits and Bobs

Games People Play did another fill-in show, this time scratching the surface of vampires in games. Got another invite to write a potential fast turnaround book. Gotta do a proposal for that and will tell you more when it is a bit more real. Heard some great news that Wyrd Science has sold well enough that there will be another issue, so Deeper Down the Hole will have a second installment, hopefully seeing daylight in January. And a little bit of the Goodman Games history might escape containment early next year as part of a Free RPG Day thinger, which is neat. More on that when I know more on that. I also have some bonus writing I want to get up on the site in the next couple weeks and I’m hopefully going to start a photo and video log of all my painted miniatures, both of which will be fun, I think. Or, at the very least, thorough. Now there’s an exciting word. Thorough.

I’d like to buy all of your Hellblazer/Lady Hellblazer Titles. How do I make that happen?
