Behold: the Fortress of Fangs, the only playset for the LJN line of Dungeons & Dragons toys. It is easily in the top five of coolest 80s toy playsets.

It is a horrible place, full of traps. There is a spiked wall, a trap door, a slide of doom, a perilously balanced ax and a catapult all waiting to murder your action figures. If those don’t get them, the big gargoyle demon thing will, no doubt.

The bulk of this was given to me by Clay Fleischer. I cleaned it, replaced the decals and set about hunting down all the bits that were missing and have finally reached the point where I doubt I can get any more without buying other Fortresses and stripping them for parts (which sounds insane, even by my standards). The missing bits are mostly aesthetic at this point any way (though, if you have a weapon rack or iron gate door, lemme know).
