White Dwarf #43

Right, so, I came into a stack of White Dwarf issues recently. I have very little context for them — I am mostly in it for the cover art. This cover (Issue 43, July, 1983) is by Jim Burns and is a clear contrast to what was acceptable on the covers of American magazines at the time. Holy WOW, severed heads. Of note inside is part two of an ongoing serialized presentation of a D&D city, Irilian and the Brits taking a crack at defining a modern setting for Call of Cthulhu several years before Chaosium got around to it.
