I present to you, the greatest wizard action figure ever made: The Wizard from the latter-day Dragonriders of the Styx line of 3.75 inch figures, circa 1984. I’ve posted the more common red and purple variant before, when I got one loose. But recently, my pal Orrin Grey scored both these doofs on card. The black and silver version is harder to come by and I honestly prefer the multi-color one. Goth Wizard is trying too hard.

The real score of having these on the card is having their accessories, the star wand and the crystal ball. I am pretty sure the hand molds won’t even hold the peg on the crystal ball. God, truly, one of the best designed toys to ever languish on the rack until the toy store went bankrupt.
