I was only going to do three posts this week, but Dan Veesenmeyer hipped me to some more catalogs with D&D stuff in them and they actually arrived in time, so here we go.

This is the 1982 Montgomery Ward Christmas catalog and, well, Smurfs. I don’t think we ever had any Montgomery Ward stores in my area, so these catalogs are new to me, but they fit the same basic mode as the Sear Wish Books.

Not a ton of D&D stuff, compared to Sears. There’s the D&D electric board game, as well as Fantasy Forest and Dungeon! The 1981 Moldvay Basic and Expert sets are also on display, though separately, which is kind of odd.

Of particular interest to me are the D&D action scenes. I’ve never seen them before, but these seem pretty cool. Same goes for the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars ones. I thought these were the die cast playsets initially, but these are a whole different animal. If anyone has any of these, I’d love to see good photos!
