I4: Oasis of the White Palm picks up where Pharaoh leaves off. Or rather, Oasis is the second part of a key that unlocks the third scenario in the Desert of Desolation trilogy. A party could, in theory, bounce between the locations of both modules as they wish, though that would be a bit of extra work for the DM.

Oasis is cut from the same cloth as Pharaoh, featuring some social troubles, a little bit of wilderness exploration and a couple of dungeon delves. There is a bit of fun with genies that, I think, anticipates the Al-Qadim campaign setting. That said, Oasis feels a distant second to Pharaoh – I can sense the shorter production time here.
On the other hand, it features some fab illustrations by Keith Parkinson, so that mostly balances the scales in my estimation.
