Paul Jaquays is back on the cover of Dungeon #28, and still working the tentacle theme – this time with a damaged nautiloid ship from the Spelljammer campaign setting. Nautiloid ships were traditionally manned by – you guessed it – mind flayers! For me, they’re one of the iconic Spelljammer ships and went a long way to convincing me the fantasy-in-space setting was cool, before deciding it wasn’t, until I realized I was right the first time. Taste is a funny thing.
