Hoo boy, is this module a stinker. In my experience, Games Workshop products are high quality, but you wouldn’t know it from this one. This is one of two licensed products Games Workshop put out before they formed a closer relationship with Chaosium (which boggles my mind, because this book makes for a pretty poor audition).

Let’s get this out of the way first: the art is garbage.

Moving on, the scenario isn’t much better. The death of a war hero draws the investigators to Norway, where they become embroiled in a blackmail plot and eventually find themselves besieged by trolls (of all things) in a ski lodge. The trolls worship Tsathogghua, see and…no. Sorry. I can’t do it. I can’t get past the terrible art.

I bought this with my own money back in 1993. I cannot for the life of me tell you why.
