This week on the Vintage RPG Podcast, Stu learns that there are more than four modules in D&D’s S-series. After a brief recap of the originals, we chat about The Dancing Hut of Baba Yaga and Labyrinth of Madness, which revived the line for one brief and brutal moment in 1995.

Tune in next week for the next episode. Until then, may the dice always roll in your favor!

I loved this episode. Now I have to go and buy these two modules as I feel my set is incomplete!
I heard Luke Gygax mention the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth is pronounced like sausage (saw instead of sow) that is how I always remember it. That front cover of Baba Yaga reminds me A LOT of Hieronymus Bosch.
Hahaha, I can see the Bosch connection!
I don’t have a lot of 2E books in my collection- my main playing time was through the changeover point, so most of my ‘sentiment’ goes earlier, but I also saw that entry on DriveThru RPG talking about these being intended as further S-modules, and figured I had to get copies for myself.
Apparently that “AD&D TriviAthlon” was an insert in Dragon 227 that was used for a contest which included trips to 3 different GenCons as prizes. And in true 1990’s fashion, there was a 1-900 number you could call to get a few hints for your entry.
