Scenario Pack 1: Into the Ruins (1982) is the first Aftermath supplement. It details the city of Littleton, which consists of a co-op farming community, sewers and some urban ruins for players to explore. They’re inhabited by security forces, “zombies” and gangs. There isn’t anything earthshaking about Into the Ruins, but it is a pretty solid starter set (alas, if only the rules were simpler). We also get a bit of history (the bombs went off in 1991!).

I love the cover treatment for these Aftermath modules. The circle format is nice and Bob Charrette’s paintings have a particular quality I find compelling.
