Invid Invasion (1988) is the sourcebook for the third segment of the Robotech cartoon series. Kevin Siembieda (who wrote all five of the Robotech books) describes watching the show frame by frame to pluck out the details in this book. That sounds utterly hellish. There are a lot more motorcycles in this one. The bulbous Invid mecha also…I have a hard time parsing them, the illustrations wind up looking like chaos to my eye. Cool cover though.
