Kelek (1983)

I wanted to share some D&D toys this week, produced by LJN from 1982-1984. First up is Kelek the evil sorcerer, still trapped in his packaging. As evil wizards go, he skews a bit toward cliché, but I’m into it. Also a big fan of the words “Evil Action Figures” in large print at the top of the card – I am sure that didn’t worry a single concerned parent.

I think the real joy of having at least one LJN Dungeons & Dragons action figure in the packaging is the art on the back. I love it so much, mostly because it features the line’s absolute badass Warduke. I have a whole week devoted to him coming down the line…
