Dragon Magazine 138, the 1988 Halloween Issue, features another skeleton warrior, this time by Jeff “why does everything I paint look so puffy” Easley. I love this painting (again, choosing to see it more as a Cauldron Born from Lloyd Alexander’s Prydain books than a boring old animated skeleton). It also appeared as one of the art dividers in one of the Monstrous Compendium binders (the first or second, I am not sure which) and, because of that, it spent a lot of time in the cover sleeve of my school binders.
