The third Dungeons & Dragons book and record from Kid Stuff is Attack of the Assassins, which seems a little intense for a kid’s book.

Kelek wants Strongheart murdered, so he calls Zarak, the half-orc assassin. Kelek explains amidst several insults (one of a vaguely racist nature) that he has forged a note from Mercion the cleric requesting Strongheart meet her at midnight and the pair resolve to kidnap Mercion for some reason, then send the note. Which they do. But Strongheart and Ringlerun suspect the note is a forgery, so the wizard lends the paladin his ring of invisibility.

Strongheart goes to the meeting and gets his butt kicked even with the ring of invisibility, but is saved at the last minute when the silence spells cast on Mercion wear off. The end. What a weird children’s story.
