Dungeons of Dread Puzzle (1983)

1983 saw the American Publishing Corporation release at least three more Dungeons & Dragons puzzles. The first of them bears Larry Elmore’s cover art for Dungeon of Dread, the first Endless Quest pick-your-path book. I was always a fan of this cover — the water weird typified the ways in which D&D was not the fantasy I expected as a kid. Again, it’s 200 pieces. I gotta mention, too, I have bought a lot of stuff off eBay and such over the years, exciting things, weird things, but very few purchases are so satisfying as a nearly forty year old puzzle that, when you put it together, does indeed have all its pieces as promised.
